Job description

As a Customer Success Engineer/ DevOps at Gathid, you will be at the intersection of technology and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and ensure their success while also playing a vital role in optimizing our infrastructure and deployment processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact our customers and internal operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their business and technical requirements, challenges, and goals.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers during onboarding, implementation, and ongoing usage of our products/services.
  • Monitor project progress via weekly meetings and ensure that agreed customer deliverables are achieved.
  • Manage customer expatiations avoiding scope creep, by leading discussion to new/extending professional services contracts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by customers in a timely and efficient manner, working closely with DevOps team.
  • Work closely with the DevOps team to improve infrastructure, automation, and deployment processes.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining documentation, guides, and best practices for customers.
  • Participate in product development discussions to advocate for customer needs and feedback.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in enterprise customer support, system administration, or a related role.
  • Exposure to enterprise grade Single-Sign On (SSO) configurations and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Experience working with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and automation tools.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a passion for ensuring Customer Success.
  • Familiar with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to enterprise grade Identity and Access management (1AM) and/or User Access Review (UAR)
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, such as Customer Success or Technical Support.
  • Experience with Agile practices, particularly with Atlassian tool set.
  • System and network administration experience.
