About the opportunity
We have an amazing opportunity for a driven Customer Supply Chain Manager to join our organization. Due some exciting organizational changes this role now sits within our Sales team and forms part of the Sales Leadership Team as well as playing an integral role on the Supply Chain Leadership team.
Leading a team of 6 Vendor Replenishment Planners your purpose is to collaborate with our Sales and Supply Chain teams and our customers to support our business growth. You will have overall responsibility for ensuring stock availability, inventory, and promotional activities are managed in line with managing customer expectations. You will also have key responsibility for communicating the needs of the customer to the broader Supply Chain team to facilitate inventory planning and deployment.
Key Responsible:
- Lead key Customer Collaboration meetings to provide supply chain updates and risks
- Actively work with the Operations team to align processes to support the daily operations
- Analyze and understand our business forecast / demand plan and supply position and proactively call out and manage risks
- Address issues, drive root-cause analysis initiatives and deliver on agreed upon commitments
- Provide updates to key stakeholders across the business including to the Executive Leadership Team
About you
Ideally holding tertiary degree qualifications, you have experience in Customer Supply Chain functions ideally in FMCG Supply Chain or Sales functions. In addition, you will have:
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build strong collaborative relationships both internally and externally
- Be able to deal with difficult stakeholders and manage competing priorities
- Superior analytical skills including data analysis and evaluation, ability to formulate and implement solutions
- Proven track record of coaching and managing a team
- Self-motivated, positive can-do attitude and continuous improvement mindset
