The Senior Consultant has primary responsibility for direct supervision of Consultants in executing IT audit project work plans. The Senior Consultant has direct, client-facing engagement responsibilities. Serving as both role model and trainer, the Senior Consultant demonstrates the attributes of excellent client service and assists team members in developing technical and professional competency. The Senior Consultant learns to identify areas of IT risk and opportunities to improve IT business processes.

REQUIRED INDUSTRY / TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
A diverse skill base in both IT auditing and information systems
- Knowledge of IT auditing processes and methodologies, including flowcharting
- Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions and methodologies for achieving compliance
- Knowledge and experience relating to at least two of the following areas:-
o IT Project Management, Software Development Lifecycle
o IT Management Processes (e.g. ITIL processes)
o ITGC and information security concepts, including access, change, incident management and backup
o Applications, in particular ERP
o An understanding of information security frameworks and standards requirements such as ISO27000 series, PCI DSS, SOC2, NIST CSF, CPS 234 etc
§ Experience with any of the following areas would also be highly desirable:
o Cloud controls
o Business resilience
o ERP security
o Technical experience with vulnerability assessment/penetration testing
o Working knowledge of tools such as SQL, BI or Manage Engine
EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (e.g. Accounting, Computer Information Systems) required
- 3+ years in a related field, preferably in professional services and/or industry
- Professional Certification such as CIA, CISA strongly preferred (Required for advancement to Manager-level position)
- Experience in IT Audit, strongly preferred
ABILITY TO TRAVEL
- The position requires some out-of-town travel to client work sites
