Position Overview: Our client is seeking a dynamic and passionate Dance and Drama Teacher to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Dance and/or Drama disciplines and a genuine enthusiasm for inspiring students to explore their creativity through movement and performance. Responsibilities: Develop and deliver engaging dance and drama lessons that cater to students of varying skill levels and ages. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves creatively. Teach fundamental techniques, choreography, and acting skills while fostering individual growth and confidence. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate dance and drama into interdisciplinary projects and performances. Organize and coordinate extracurricular activities such as school productions, dance showcases, and drama clubs. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development as performers and artists. Stay current with trends and innovations in dance and drama education, continuously seeking opportunities for professional growth. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Dance, Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Previous teaching experience in dance and/or drama, preferably in an educational setting. Proficiency in a variety of dance styles (e.g., ballet, jazz, modern, hip-hop) and acting techniques. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues effectively. Demonstrated commitment to fostering creativity, collaboration, and inclusivity in the classroom. Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate the diverse needs and interests of students.
