At ANZ our purpose is to shape a world where people and communities thrive and to achieve this, we seek a talented Data and Reporting Expert to join our Controls & Performance team. The role sits within our Strategic Delivery Portfolio in the AR&C Division. Strategic Delivery is charged with transforming the AR&C division, bringing “best in class” capability to bear with the Business.
The role will require you to combine your experience spanning analysis, engineering and build reports along with data management skills in order to help assess end to end data environment, forming a view of the required uplift in conjunction with Controls uplift and the business / Portfolio teams.

What will your day look like
Partnering with our stakeholders and supporting capabilities to achieve Customer and Banker outcomes where data underpins the requirement statement or objective
Helping to address data quality and driving remediation strategies and execution
Analysing and ensuring data aspects are a key part of process and system evolution, including partnering in the delivery of solutions in collaboration with the business, technology and initiative teams
Mapping and cataloguing data elements and data assets and addressing any data quality shortcomings identified in our Divisions data
Design and build visualisation reports that support our stakeholders deliver great customer and banker outcomes.
Delivering against committed milestones
Identify and address constraints that hinder progress, escalating as appropriate
Ensure ANZ's core values are always maintained in dealing with staff, colleagues and customers.
What will you bring?

But back to some of the skills –
Experience in any visualisation tools like Qliksense, QlikView to transform the data in a way it can be perceived and used effectively by the Business
Experience in any ETL tools like SSIS , Knime etc and Databases like Teradata will add value to the role which would enable to transform the data to meet the Business requirements is an added advantage
Experience in building and delivering a data report agenda
Able to frame data and visualise in context of business outcomes that benefit our Customer and Bankers
Ability to challenge and reframe approaches to represent data, automating and orchestrating report processes
Experience in Data analysis, modelling and any architecture to visualize data
Experience designing and building simple user reports and applications.
Experience with various data capabilities - Understanding of metadata and data lineage; Defining and leveraging data assets; Defining and applying Accountability for data; Understanding of the data lifecycle
Experience with various visualisation capabilities - Understanding of visualisation tool; Defining and leveraging various components with the tool; presenting the right data in a right way to the business in way it makes business to reframe the data usage
Compliance and operational Risk knowledge or experience with processes and systems advantageous, but not necessary
Extensive business analysis experience with understanding of data quality and data protection / privacy management practices
Good Knowledge on Database concepts to understand the data and visualise them effectively in a way to benefit the Business
