Database Integrator

We are looking for a skilled Database Integrator to join a brisbane based education institution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management and integration as well as a team player and strong problem solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain all IT systems (including Database and Management Systems)
• Ensure systems are effective and functioning within the limits of budget, time and specifications of the business.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of databases

Qualifications:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in information systems or information technology or other qualification, skills or knowledge which are deemed equivalent.
• An understanding of IT requirements/needs within an education environment.
• Experience in Student Information System (Synergetic) or Learning Management System (SEQTA) is essential.
• Excellent problem solving/trouble shooting skills.
• Well-developed communication skills with a strong customer focus.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team.
• Strong time management and organisation skills with the ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines.

Applicants must hold or are willing to obtain and maintain a Blue Card.
