In this role you will be supporting our Prestons Distribution Centre, picking and packing using RF scanners with all roles requiring the use of forklifts and working within a chiller environment. We are looking for people who can cover the Day Shift to support the team.
Your Responsibilities include:
- High Reach/LO stockpicker/Counterbalance forklift driving
- Freezer experience
- Unload/load inbound and outbound stock and efficiently stacking pallets
- Quality control: Ensuring shipment accuracy, checking and reporting quality variances
- Ensuring labelling of products is correct according to product and consumer specifications
- Picking and packing using RF scanners with all roles requiring the use of forklifts
- Completing manual handling duties – lifting, pulling, pushing, bending and reaching
- Storing and maintaining materials, equipment and tools
- Identifying and escalating, Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks
Selection Criteria
- Hold a current LF/LO/HR license with at least 12 months of experience
- Communicate well both written and verbally
- Physically fit and repetitively lift up to 25kg
- Flexibility to cover various shifts when required
