Job description
Hands-on style of role so must have a trade-background

Monday - Friday role with genuine work/life balance
Our Client is one of Melbourne's leading luxury residential, boutique apartment and townhouse specialists. They have enjoyed an extended period of buoyancy over recent years and have successfully handed over a significant number of projects. This level of activity means they have a large number of projects sitting in the Defect Liability Period (DLP) so they are looking to employ a capable Defects & Post-Construction Manager to oversee each project post-handover.
The role will take ownership of each project that has been 'handed-over' and manage any post-construction problems/issues or defects that arise during the DLP. If a defect is easy to rectify then it is expected that the successful candidate will merely roll their sleeves up and fix the problem. If a major defect is identified they will then need to manage it's rectification.
To be considered previous finishes/defects experience will be viewed favourably, as will a trade qualification. This is the perfect role for someone who is looking for a greater work/life balance after many years in the grind of site management/supervision. Salary will be flexible depending on experience with a range of $130,000 - $160,000 total package.
