Perfect Excavation & Demolition, a growing and successful Civil and Demolition company in Western Sydney. We are seeking a fulltime Demolition/Civil Estimator role to join our estimating team. The qualified candidate must have knowledge and experience of the complete tendering process and civil construction. Reporting to the Director, your role will be to collaborate closely with our other estimator during the tendering process by following up on tendered jobs, tendering for new jobs and building a professional relationship with builders and other personnel within the civil/construction industry. Experience using EstimateOne and Buildsoft Cubit, Mudshrak, Procore software and Foxit PDF is essential. Must be able to hit the ground running and work with our busy team.

You will be supported to further develop and nurture profitable business relationships in the civil and infrastructure sector. To be successful in this position you'll require previous experience in a similar position with references.
To be considered you must have the following skills and experience;
1. Experience and knowledge of complete tendering process in the civil/construction industry using EstimateOne;
2. Experience of using estimating software Cubit and MudShark (preferred);
3. Experience in BOQ preparation on Demolition and Excavation works by proficiently reading and interpreting drawings and reports (Architectural, Structural, Civil, Survey map, Geotech report, Scope of Works, Mark-up drawing, etc);
4. Knowledge of Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP);
5. Knowledge of contract administration (advantageous);
6. Current network of relevant contacts in the civil/construction industry (advantageous);
7. The ability to identify, develop and nurture effective business relationships;
8. Highly effective communication, negotiation and influencing skills;
9. Strong problem solving skills;
10. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written;
11. Excellent computer skills (MS Word and Excel must);
You must be a strong 'hunter', results driven, customer centric, have a technical aptitude and the ability to work autonomously as well as in a small team

Salary: $38.00 – $45.00 per hour
