Tell me more... The Dental Officer will participate in the continued development of quality oral health services to the communities of the Cape and Torres Strait.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team and demonstrate understanding of teamwork.
- Experience or Interest in developing strategies to improve community engagement with the health system in Indigenous communities.
- Experience in rural and remote settings or an ability to demonstrate suitability to living remotely.
- Base comprising salary between $111,474.00 - $134,195.00 p.a
- Generous employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%)
- Salary packaging option to increase your take home pay
- PLUS Rural incentive 30% of annualised base salary

- Appointment to this position requires proof of tertiary degree qualification (or equivalent) in Oral Health Therapy, as recognised by the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Authority (AHPRA) is mandatory. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
- Travel across the TCHHS will be a requirement of this position in commercial and/or light aircraft and 4WD vehicles.
- It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against COVID-19 (
