Key Responsibilities
- Detail drawings of scaffolding and specialist access in 2D and 3D, Including gear lists.
- Ensuring design work complied to appropriate codes and legislation.
- Manage output to meet customer / other deadlines.
- Liaising with Engineers, Sales Team, and if required, customers to ensure accurate and functional designs are produced.
- Site visits to measure up and discuss client requirements.
- Extracting key information from preliminary drawings by sales team for generation of detail designs.
- Local construction industry design experience.
- strong understanding and experience in Temporary Works Design, detailing and installation.
- Knowledge and experience with Scaffolding systems.
- Excellent knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD 2D and 3D.
- Experience with Autodesk inventor an advantage.
- Experience with proprietary scaffold design software an advantage.
- Effective communication skills o liaise with site PMs, Sales Team, other engineers, clients and where required.
- An aptitude for problem solving and abstract thinking.
- Motivated to get the job done.
- Membership to Engineers Australia and NER preferred.
- Engineer certificate.
