Our client, a thriving company experiencing growth and embarking on new projects, is seeking a skilled Design Manager to oversee a portfolio of health projects.
Responsibilities:
Identify and communicate all deliverables to the construction team.
Manage design obligations and minimize commercial risks associated with design.
Develop and manage the Design Program.
Create scopes of work for consultants based on the Project Brief and Contract Requirements.
Effectively manage multiple projects concurrently, covering the entire Design and Construction life cycle.
Coordinate and manage user groups.
Requirements:
Relevant building and tertiary qualifications in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management (post-graduation).
Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Design Manager, Project Engineer, or Project Manager with a building contractor.
Exposure to various project types such as education, health, or defense would be advantageous.
Experience working on construction projects ranging from $25 million to $100 million in value.
Exceptional leadership capabilities and effective communication skills across all levels.
