The Role
The role is responsible for successful delivery of design projects for a variety of Rail and Transmission and Distribution (T&D) Clients, both regulated and unregulated.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring timely and quality of design deliverables
- Leading multi-discipline teams and mentoring and developing junior engineers
- Engaging and managing sub consultants
- Accurately scheduling and forecasting the delivery of multidisciplinary design projects
- Liaising with Clients to manage the design review and submission process
What we are looking for
A wealth of experience as a Design Manager in a similar role- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering preferred
- Industry experience in transmission and distribution projects
- An understanding of construction requirements
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in teams and co-ordinate activities
- Strong written and communication skills
