Graphic Designer
FULL-TIME - CROWN MELBOURNE
The Graphic designer is a key role for Melbourne to deliver effective creative solutions for all the Crown Melbourne brands. They will take briefs from various business units, develop design concepts, present to stakeholders and produce finished art for various marketing collateral including logos, brochures, VIP pieces, eDM, social, cross property campaigns and ATL material. The Graphic Designer will report into the Head of Studio in Melbourne and work closely with the Head Designer.
Some responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain strong communication with the Studio Head and Head Designer on Creative development, campaign rollouts and studio workload.
- Manage the work in their portfolio ensuring it is delivered on time and to brief and within the Crown Brand Guidelines.
- Develop high quality work managing the design process from conception to finished art for both print and digital collateral.
- Produce effective design layouts, rollouts and typesetting, ensuring clear communication and accurate finished art.
- Develop artwork to correct specifications across all media channels including print, eDM, social media and web.
- Work with Print Production to ensure print ready files are on time and to the correct specifications.
- Maintain strong communication with the Studio Head and Head Designer on Creative development, campaign rollout and studio workload.
- Work with Head Designer and Studio Head to ensure high quality accurate designs.
- Proactively research industry and design trends and keep up to date with technology and software.
- Graphic Design degree or diploma with minimum 5 years industry experience
- Highly proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge and Acrobat
- Extremely creative in conceptual designs and an expert in finished art
- Must be able to use the latest Creative Cloud software
- Branding experience and working with style guides
- Highly competent on the Mac platform
- Ability to take briefs and develop a concept and take it to finished art
- Campaign roll-out experience, both print and digital
- Knowledge of digital rollouts such as Social, eDM and Web assets
- Pre production skills and knowledge of paper stock and embellishments
- Experience with a fast paced working environment with tight deadlines
