The opportunity
As a Designer you will deliver new designs for floor plans, facades and options that are in line with our brand design guidelines. You will ensure home designs can be built in volume, delivered efficiently, are affordable and meet the brief in regards to key design features.
Working as part of a Design Team this role involves supporting stakeholders to develop design briefs, by actively contribute ideas and challenge thinking.
Responsibilities include:
Developing new design concepts from brief to review and approval
Finalising new design concepts for handover to masters drafting
Actively collaborate and initiate peer review to enhance the design process and outcomes
Maintaining knowledge of the competitive landscape and consumer expectations
Your skills and experience
You will be an experienced Residential Building Designer with an excellent capability in using ArchiCad. Your resume will display your skills, attributes and experience.
You will have:
Passion for design and innovation
Proven experience in a Design role
Knowledge of Victorian Building Regulations and NCC
Knowledge of common residential construction methods
Collaboration skills and ability to build strong working relationships
