A leading global technology company is currently looking to hire an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to be part of their IT Support team for one of their enterprise clients based in Perth WA.
This is a Level 1 and Level 2 site-based Desktop Support role within client and involves face-to-face support of all client end users.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing in person face to face and remote Technology support for the client's user base.
Provide End User Support (Level 1 and Level 2), work on Desktop configuration, Office relocations, Hardware Asset Refresh / Operating System Refresh.
Proactively work with all end users
Compliance with client Technology standards
Provide Town Hall and other Special Event meeting support as required
Provide onsite Unified Communications support
Provide Guest Network support
Manage incidents and service requests
Key Requirements:
2+ years relevant experience in desktop support
Experience with Desktop / End User Support (Level 1 and Level 2) for a mid-large corporate environment.
Hardware Support, Operating System (Windows 10 /11, and Office 365) and Software Application, Unified Communications and Audio-Visual Support.
Experience in Service Desk/Desktop Management tools
Good Analytical, Interpersonal & Coordination skills are essential
Excellent Soft skill, Communications skills (Voice & Email) to handle global customers
Customer service orientation and ability to work in a team
Ability to perform in adverse situations
Daily Rate: $300 per Day (incl. super)
