Northen New South Wales Local Health District (NNSWLHD) is seeking a Desktop Support Officer (Programmer), to deliver Information Technology and Telecommunications (IT&T), though the installation, configuration and life cycle management of hardware and software. Providing ongoing support for users and end point solutions through a Statewide Service management tool.
This role supports facilities throughout the NNSWLHD - between Grafton and Tweed. The successful applicant may be asked to attend any site within the district.
This recruitment is to fill a casual pool; Successful applicants will be contacted for short placements or longer casual contracts when required by the LHD.
If you have:
Experience in supporting hardware and software lifecycle management and demonstrates technical knowledge of these systems and services.
Experience in providing technical support in a healthcare setting or a large and complex environment.
Experience in ICT network and operations with Microsoft Technologies in a TCP/IP network environment.
Experience or knowledge of delivering IT services using a service management framework such as ITIL to provide problem and incident management.
Ability to prioritise and manage own workload proactively and take initiative to improve existing services and processes.
