To support our growth we are seeking a Developer / Database Administrator to join our team in Brisbane.
The role will require but not be limited to:
In this role you will provide technical expertise through database development, presentation and data driven solutions and innovation.
Develop and maintain advanced data systems
Identify and support new opportunities for the Engineering delivery team
Ensure all data is maintained in relation to forecasting, reporting, integrity and security
Source and prepare data in alignment with Client requests
Collecting, interpreting, identifying trends and reporting on data sets
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of developments and advances in data science
What are we looking for?
Relevant Tertiary degree eg statistics, mathematics, computer science
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in mining, refinery, process or manufacturing
Advanced mathematics and data manipulation skills
Data collection, sorting and modelling of large data sets
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Office 365 and SAP/JDE
Proficient in T-SQL is essential and some of the following programming languages: SQL, C#, C, Node.js, Python and Java
Networking and SQL database experience
Detailed reporting and presentation experience
High attention to detail and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage self and others time, priorities and activities.
