Your New Role
West Village is a $1.1 billion dollar mixed-use precinct, created by one of the world’s largest residential development companies, Sekisui House. The heritage listed former Peters Ice Cream factories are at the heart of the 2.6ha precinct, which will ultimately deliver up to 1,200 residences along with up to 20,000sqm of commercial, a 14,000sqm retail precinct, and 1ha of open parklands and heritage laneways.
Your duties will include:
Responsible for the day-to-day management of the feasibility and commercial assessment of the residential components of the project, while keeping senior management abreast of any pertinent changes in financial metrics
Work with the team to prepare financial budgets for each stage, along with develop the profit or loss forecasts
Work with the senior management to develop the project strategy, including project milestones, planning authority approvals, risk analysis, profit improvements
Work with the team to secure project approvals and manage risk in all facets of planning, delivery and handover
Along with senior management, drive the internal quality and design focus and excellence in all facets of the project
Continually monitor progress of the project against milestones and financial budgets, to identify potential problems and propose solutions to remedy the problems if encountered
About You
Tertiary qualifications in Property (ideally from a Construction or Engineering background)
Minimum of 5+ years managing the delivery of medium to large scale residential developments from initiation to completion
Proficient in Estate Master and Microsoft Excel
Proficient at property development related financial modelling
Demonstrated experience achieving end-to-end results through effective development management skills
Strong time management and organisation skills
Customer service focus
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
