Fantastic opportunity for DevOps Engineer to join a leading Australian company. This is a permanent full time position (although we would consider contract options for the right applicant).

This role can be performed remote across AUS/NZ however slight preference for Melbourne.

Must be Australian Citizen to apply as you will be working on high profile Government projects with a high performing team!

You will be responsible for developing cloud infrastructure, automation, governance, and telemetry. You will have strong knowledge of industry best practices across current and emerging DevOps technologies.

Key Selection Criteria

Required

• A passion for Agile development and DevOps culture
• Experience in developing IaC/CaC solutions in Azure with ARM, Bicep or Terraform
• Experience/ Knowledge using cloud-first, PaaS services in Azure and deploying into the exclusive Azure Central regions or similar.
• We are seeking a DevOps Engineer who has strong understanding on Azure services like APIM, AppGateway, ASE, App Service etc more towards to the Application hosting and application build/deploy side.
• Solid understanding of networking, system administration, and security concepts
• Fluent in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bash
• Experience in cloud governance and cost management
• Experience in developing cloud monitoring solutions
• Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Working knowledge of Git and branching strategies
• Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications

Desirable

• .NET development background
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Azure DevOps (Boards/Pipelines)
• Test automation (functional and non-functional)
