We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team on a Full-Time basis.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration, continuous delivery, and system reliability.
please note this position will be 5 days onsite at our Mooroolbark office
About the Role
The successful applicant would expect the following responsibilities as part of their role (including but not limited to):
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for our applications.
- Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure to support our development and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Implement security best practices and compliance measures across our AWS environment.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment.
About You
As the successful candidate you will have:
- Proven experience as an AWS Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and tools.
- Proficiency in some (if not all) of the following AWS services:
- EC2
- Amplify
- S3
- Cognito
- ALB (Application Load Balancer)
- SQS (Simple Queue Service)
- ECR (Elastic Container Registry)
- ECS (Elastic Container Service)
- RDS (Relational Database Service)
- CloudWatch
- Secrets Manager
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Experience with managing relational databases.
- Experience with working with containerisation.
- Strong networking skills (routing, etc).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
