Your Opportunity:
The position of Dietitian Food Service Transition will:
  • Facilitate and support the transition of Food Services from an external provider to an insourced service delivery model in conjunction with the insourcing transition project team and under the direction of the Director, Dietetics and Food Services and the Senior Director, Transition of Operational Support Services.
  • Support the insourcing transition project team and Director, Dietetics and Food Services with the preparation of service delivery models, policies, procedures and other operational documentation required for the successful transition of services.
  • Provide high level professional and operational leadership, strategic direction and advocacy in the management and delivery of person centred Food Services at sites within CHQHHS.
  • Apply an expert level of knowledge and skills to the development and implementation of clinical food service systems within CHQHHS facilities to achieve excellence in patient care, education and research.
  • Be responsible for ensuring alignment of Foodservices and Nutrition and Dietetic services across multiple clinical specialties and settings (acute and sub-acute) and facilitate clinical integration between corporate and clinical services at the facility, CHQHHS and state-wide level around the provision of a high quality and cost-effective nutrition and foodservices.
