Digital Business Analyst

We are a small, well funded company that services some of the biggest names in the country and are currently looking for a digital business analyst to join our exciting team, working with our customers to deliver digital products that they will love.

As a digital business analyst you will be joining our agile delivery team and will be partnering with stakeholders at all levels, across the team and the broader business to help us move seamlessly from discovery to deployment. The digital business analyst has the responsibility for spearheading the collaboration between cross functional team members to facilitate and define the execution of the “how” of a solution from a functional user perspective.

The most important relationship for the digital business analyst is with the product manager. The digital business analyst role will work closely with the product manager, following agile practices, in order to build, prioritise and maintain the team backlog.

What you’ll do:

• Drive identification of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data
• Serve as thought leader for technical business processes, developing forward-thinking systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels
• Create and implement precise management plans for every project, with attention to transparent communication at all levels
• Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development
• Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usability

You have a history of being part of teams delivering digital products that customers love. This is a role for someone with a strong agile delivery background and has a proven track record working in cross-functional agile teams.

It is important that you have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or Computer Science
• 4+ years of proven experience in an analytics and systems development capacity
• High proficiency with SQL language and database management
• Proven analytical abilities
• Practical experience generating process documentation and reports
• Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Demonstrated experience in delivering initiatives using agile/scrum principles.
