As part of the team you will:
The Digital Information Manager (IM) will be responsible for the efficient management of information delivered on projects, in accordance with the WSP IMS and ISO 19650 standards, including:
- Clear definitions for the information needed by the project client or asset owner, and for the standards, methods, processes, deadlines, and protocols that will govern its production and review
- Facilitate the set-up and maintenance of the CDE (Connected Data Environment) in the form of ProjectWise (and complementary systems) and processes for Electronic Information exchange
- Define the systems & process for the creation of the project federated model
- Awareness of emerging IM trends via consultation with internal WSP IM leadership, clients, client managers, technical people in the business and other external experts such as software vendors
- Business Development
- Review contract documents
- Establish the delivery team's (pre-appointment) DE execution plan
- Establish the delivery team's capability and capacity
- Establish the delivery team's mobilization plan
- Establish the delivery team's IM risk register
- Compile the delivery team's IM tender response
- Compile the delivery team's DE execution plan
- Establish the delivery team's detailed responsibility matrix
- Establish the project exchange information requirements
- Compile the task information delivery plan(s)
- Establish the master information delivery plan
- Complete the appointed party's appointment documents
- Monitor information delivery processes, implement corrective actions where necessary
- Review and authorize the information model
- Archive the project information model
- Capture lessons learned for future projects
- Helping to win bids and reduce risk due to poor understanding of the client's requirements
- Ensuring the client's IM/DE Contract requirements are met
- Projects delivered in compliance with ISO 19650 standards
- Deliverables quality meets the project requirements
- The level of information is appropriate and does not exceed project requirements
- Preferably a Bachelor or associate degree in an engineering discipline
- A minimum of 10 years' (production) experience in design, drafting or engineering and DE
- High-level working knowledge of project information management
- High-level working knowledge ProjectWise/BIM360/Synergy
- ISO 19650 workflows and data management practices
- Commercial awareness
- Team leadership, executive communication and presentation skills
- In-depth knowledge of national codes and classification schemes and how they apply to IM/DE delivery
