PURPOSE OF ROLE
The Digital Marketing and Communications Manager position is the most senior marketing role within the organisation and carries ultimate responsibility for the Marketing initiatives and content creation for the business.
DUTIES
General Business
Deliver ideas and marketing initiatives for the business and work collaboratively with Office Manager to execute these ideas
Run internal and external marketing campaigns
Set and implement social media strategy and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies
Produce creative content for the Office Manager to roll out on platforms on a weekly basis
Engage with our team of consultants to create engaging, topical content based on their areas of specialty
Create compelling, engaging content to be broadcast across multiple social media platforms and company websites and tenders
Be on-site at our Sydney CBD office, 1-2 days per week.
Forecasting & Reporting
Create monthly marketing calendar to ensure the organisation is abreast of ongoing initiatives so that the marketing function operates effectively
Ensure the accurate preparation / reporting of marketing results, including SEO in accordance with company goals.
Confidently present analytics on social media posts once a month to our leadership team, and discuss future posts that will get their message across to our audience.
Required Skills
Experience as a Communications Manager or similar role (preferably both on and offline)
Experience planning and leading Marketing initiatives
Experience in the Recruitment, Professional Services or Technology sector preferred
Hands on experience with digital marketing and social media management for business
Experience in content creation skills including copywriting, image creation and creating stories.
Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics
Ability to present to a group
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Self-starter, with the ability to multitask, highly creative and organised with a real eye for detail
Computer literacy in MS Excel & Word is essential, as is high-level experience with Social Platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram and Canva.)
