Your opportunity
The DigitalSecurity Architecture Lead plays a pivotal role in embedding cyber security practices into our platforms and business processes. Through strong collaboration with product owners, platform leads and projects, the role will embed security solutions and controls commensurate with the business risk profile and global best practices for security.
You will have overall accountability for:
- Work closely with product and platform owners and domain architects to define technical strategies and roadmaps, embedding Secure-by-Design principles.
- Work with development teams to embed DevSecOps as a practice.
- Working with operations teams to integrate security into the deployment and delivery process, including implementing secure configuration management and release management practices
- Establish collaborative engagement across our project portfolio to enable our transformational journey within risk tolerances and mitigating cyber threats.
- Partner with suppliers to bring the highest level of technical domain expertise to our business.
- Define and refine the technical cybersecurity strategy to enable our business to evolve at speed, securely.
- Establish and communicate target architectures for cybersecurity platforms.
- Establish and embed processes for threat, risk and control analysis.
- Identify opportunities for automating security controls.
- Monitor the threat landscape and align our cybersecurity controls keep pace with evolving threats.
- Providing guidance and training to development teams on secure coding practices and security best practices
- Foster innovation to support new ways of interacting with and generating value for customers and business partners.
- Working with operations teams to integrate security into the deployment and delivery process, including implementing secure configuration management and release management practices
- Research new and emerging technologies and recommend where appropriate.

Additional, favourable skills or experience:
- Broad understanding of cybersecurity risks and control domains such as Cloud Security, Data Protection.
- Deep expertise with Security frameworks, including NIST and ISO27001.
- Expertise with Risk Management frameworks and experience in measuring risk.
- Expertise in measuring effectiveness of Security controls.
- Data and analytics mindset .
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain cybersecurity risks clearly at all levels of the organisation.
- Proven expertise in consulting and influencing across business departments.
- Employs authentic storytelling techniques drive compelling stories and messages.
- Adopts a Leader-as-Coach approach to leadership.
