Based in Wollongong, our client provides essential financial and HR services to small business owners in various industries. 

The Opportunity:
This is a unique partnership opportunity for an entrepreneurial-minded and experienced chartered Accountant to work alongside another extremely motivated and passionate owner! You will be offered a generous equity stake in the business, flexible work-from-home arrangements with office-based work in the future, and a collaborative and supporting work environment focusing on growth and innovation.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Being the primary contact for all finance related queries
- Day-to-day Bookkeeping for now as they hire bookkeepers throughout the year
- Leveraging your expertise to streamline operations
- Prepare and file BAS, GST, FBT for both business and personal tax returns
- Reconciliations, processing payroll, GST advice, onboarding new clients
- Being a key decision maker with all things finance

About You:
- Certified BAS/Tax agent
- 5+ years' experience within a chartered business services firm
- CPA/CA qualified or studying towards
- Strong knowledge of Xero or similar accounting software
- Fantastic communication to effectively deal with multiple clients
- Ability to take initiative and ownership!
