About the Opportunity

Reporting to the CEO, the Director, Business Strategy is pivotal in the development and implementation of the CEO’s leadership, strategy, innovation and organisational design. Operating within ambiguous, complex and highly political environments will be where you have seen success previously, enabling you to think on your feet, provide pragmatic thought leadership and expert advice to the multifaceted matters and policy issues in relation to the North East Link Project delivery. Poised as key ministerial liaison for NELP, the role anticipates needs, opportunities and challenges, provide high-quality advice and apply strategic oversight on the information, submissions and recommendations between the Project and Ministerial office.
Furthermore, this role is at the helm to;

Negotiate clear, effective pathways throughout varied ministerial officers, adapting to and pre-empting expectations, priorities and agendas
Operate at a senior executive level, influencing and collaborating with the senior leadership team
Lead the development of frameworks, strategies and initiatives ensuring consistent messaging, supported and enacted by stakeholders, resulting in united, all-encompassing objective achievements
Initiate environmental scanning practices to strategically navigate the North East Link Project Office, guide research and capitalisation on innovation and investment opportunities
Lead agile and innovative initiatives, harness business intelligence and inform opportunities to embed a strategy spanning people and processes.
