The Centre for Agricultural Engineering (CAE) is one of three important research centres within the Institute for Advanced Engineering and Space Sciences. The Centre conducts research and engagement that delivers applied, practical and profitable agricultural engineering and technology solutions that strengthen agricultural productivity and transform the industry in Australia and overseas.
Reporting to the Executive Director of the Institute, an exciting opportunity now exists for an outstanding academic leader to take on the role of Director, Centre for Agricultural Engineering. As the Director of the Centre, you will lead and influence key research outcomes and work with academic and professional research teams to develop world class capability while ensuring high quality innovation and impact.
UniSQ is seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic academic leader with discipline aligned research and teaching expertise and a proven track record of success in relation to high quality publications and the attraction of funding. Your ability to collaboratively lead should be complemented by your demonstrated capability to successfully engage and partner with industry and government.

Salary: A competitive executive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
Location: Toowoomba campus-based position, with regular travel to our Ipswich and Springfield campus’.
