The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is a specialist service department working to support the operation of the Parliament of NSW by providing logistical support and advice to members, the Departments of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly and the people of New South Wales.

About the position

Parliament NSW is making a major investment in modernising its ageing technology, and moving to digital to replace manual, paper-based processes.


The Director Digital Transformation leads the delivery of multiple ICT and Digital programs for Parliament NSW including cloud migration, website development, applications, service management and audiovisual projects. You will report directly to the Chief Executive DPS and lead around 40 employees and multiple external suppliers to better enable DPS to deliver high quality services to members, staff and the community. You will collaborate with the CIO and IT Services and provide leadership for the effective transition of projects into ongoing operations.


To be successful in this role you will have considerable knowledge and experience of program, project and change management, and in using project management methodologies, including Agile and PRINCE2 or similar.

You are curious. You empathise with stakeholders to understand problems and to collaborate with people to find innovative solutions.
