Director of Curatorial and Engagement

The Director of Curatorial and Engagement will play a pivotal role in helping to plan and shape the visitor experience at the National Aboriginal Art Gallery in Mparntwe, Alice Springs. Opening in 2027, the Gallery is committed to empowering First Nations artists and communities to bring their unique visions and stories to life through exhibitions and related projects and programs, The Director of Curatorial and Engagement will work with the Senior Director, colleagues in the Project Implementation Team, and key stakeholders to develop frameworks for curation and Engagement that uphold the principles of co-creation, co-curation and Engagement, and that lead to engaging and relevant experiences for learners of all ages. nTwo fixed vacancies available, both to 30/06/2026nSelection will be made at the SAO2 or SPO2 level depending on the experience/qualifications of the successful applicant.
