The Role of Director of Event Operations

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for developing and leading the WSCC Event Operations Team including for the WSCC Reception, Bar and Conference Rooms.
You will lead and inspire an authentically guest-centric, professional, innovative and flexible team where service is a passion rather than a job.
The role will work closely with the WSCC Audio Visual Team, Kitchen Brigade and Event Coordinators.
This role will require exceptional time management and delegation skills.

Setting you up for Success

Prior Event Operations Management experience in a large venue is essential due to the pre-opening nature of the role.
A proven ability to coordinate large teams across multiple areas and to delegate effectively.
Experience leading a team with a strong focus on team engagement and development
Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
