We specialize in designing and manufacturing innovative smart lock solutions that blend convenience, security, and aesthetics seamlessly. At Lucky Lock, we believe in pushing the boundaries of what's possible to create a safer and smarter world.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Hardware Engineering to lead our hardware development team. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving the entire lifecycle of our smart lock products, from research and development to manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the IoT or biometric industry, with a passion for innovation and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  3. Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from concept ideation to mass production. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineering, design, and quality assurance, to deliver high-quality smart lock solutions that meet customer needs and market demands.
  4. Technical Expertise: Serve as the primary technical authority on hardware-related matters, providing guidance and support to resolve complex technical challenges. Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in the IoT and biometric industry, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and maintain our competitive edge.
  5. Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key manufacturing partners and suppliers. Ensure seamless coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders to optimize the manufacturing process and meet production targets while adhering to quality and cost objectives.
  6. Team Leadership and Development: Build and nurture a high-performing hardware development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth. Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to team members to empower them to reach their full potential.

What we are looking for:

  • Passion for smart lock products.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully bringing hardware products to market, preferably in the IoT or biometric industry.
  • Deep understanding of hardware design principles, including PCB layout, RF engineering, and power management.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle) and familiarity with rapid prototyping techniques.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage budgets effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Passion for technology innovation and a drive to deliver best-in-class products that exceed customer expectations.
