You will be a professional role model for the operational teams, promoting the highest performance levels and providing a service which is unique and personal. Reporting to the General Manager (GM), you are responsible for Management of the day to day operations with particular focus on Front Office, Reservations, Night Audit, Housekeeping and Engineering.

About You

• You are savvy, innovative, "entrepreneurial go-getter" with bags of energy, positive mind-set and with a hunger to succeed within a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Works with direct reports to develop and implement the operations strategy and ensuring the implementation of the brand service strategy & initiatives.
• As a member of the Executive Team, this position develops and implements property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet and exceed the needs and expectations of both internal and external guests
• You are deadline driven and results-focused and settle for nothing less than the very highest standards of service delivery
• You are amazing with your team coaching, training, developing and inspiring comes naturally to you
• Solid financial and commercial acumen is a must, with the ability to drive revenue and achieve bottom line profit
• You have an eye for detail and are solution focused. You see operational challenges and facilitates improvements to prevent reoccurrence
• This is a hands on role, working on the floor, leading your team from the front, the visible face of the rooms operations here at Ovolo Nishi
• An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
• Impeccable grooming and personal presentation is essential- you are the face of the Front Office/Rooms Division in Ovolo Canberra
