Seeking experienced female support staff for active overnight shifts 10pm - 7am weekdays. 2-3 nights per week. Immediate start.
About the Role
We are looking for cheerful and compassionate people to join a small team to support a young woman living with severe intellectual disability and epilepsy.
Active overnight support will include being alert and responding to seizure activity and light house work while the participant is asleep. When the participant is active during the shift tasks will include all aspects of personal care, assistance with feeding, medication administration and therapy routines.
Experience with personal care, manual handling, behaviour support with clients of high behaviours of concern and complex medical needs will be highly regarded. Previous experience working active night shifts is preferred.
Our ideal candidate will be a kind-hearted and people focused person with great communication skills, and an enthusiastic approach to providing support.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to seizure activity.
- Personal care.
- Performing home-based tasks such as food preparation and housework.
- Implementation of physical therapy routine.
- Keeping detailed records of activities performed and the client’s progress.

Role Requirements
- A minimum Certificate III in Disability or equivalent experience
- Current NDIS Worker Screening
- Current First Aid and CPR
