MON to SUN - Morning, Afternoon, Evening & Over night Shifts - Available.

The Disability Company is a fun, care-based workplace that is rapidly growing and needs a star Disability Support Worker to join our team! We provide phenomenal care and feel confident that our clients have the support to reach their goals.

The Role

We are looking for 20 individuals to join the team to provide a variety of supports to people with a disability. You will aid with all aspects of daily living including personal care, domestic care, social and community participation, and transportation. This is a hands-on role, suitable for active individuals who can perform manual handling duties.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Well-developed communication skills and interpersonal skills
• An out-going, positive and interactive attitude.
• Initiative to advocate for your clients to ensure the best level of care is provided.
• The ability to be flexible and adaptable in challenging situations.
• Know how to organise and action daily tasks and schedules.
• The ability to work under limited supervision

Experience:

• Experience within the care sector is favourable.
• Professional/Personal experience in disability or around individuals with a disability is favourable.
• Experience with high complex needs is favourable.

Current or Willing to Obtain

• NDIS VIC Worker Screening Check
• CPR & First Aid certified
• Current Drivers license and transportation

Job Type: Casual

Salary: $31.50 – $66.90 per hour
