Due to recent policy changes in Victoria, demand for our product is growing, so we have created this new role of Display Host/Salesperson to assist our current Sales/Project Co-ordinator.
This full-time role is based at our Mentone office where the successful applicant will open our display “village” 5 days per week including Saturdays, follow up customers and leads, and assist our Sales/Project Co-ordinator in all sales activities aimed at achieving our targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement:
- Greet visitors to the display village with a professional and welcoming attitude.
- Present, promote, and sell the Humpy Co. Range to existing and prospective customers, utilising solid arguments and effective communication techniques.
- Understand and assess client needs and provide suitable solutions.
- Proactively reach out to customer leads through various channels, including cold calling, to generate sales opportunities.
Sales Support:
- Assist the Sales/Project Co-ordinator in managing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and following up leads.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions in the CRM system (Pipedrive).
- Collaborate with the Sales/Project Co-ordinator and Sales Administrator to achieve sales targets.
- Organize and participate in events and promotions within the display village.
Qualifications:
- Residential sales is an advantage but 2+yrs experience within a face to face sales environment is essential.
- Ability to work Saturdays is essential - other days negotiable.
- Confident communicator with a passion for meeting people face-to-face.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
- Results-oriented with a customer-centric approach to sales.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to undergo relevant training and development to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
