Work for an architectural hardware company who are known for its portfolio of products and services for security and access for rooms and buildings. A large amount of their work is in commercial spaces with hotels, shops, airports, sporting venues, and office spaces. They are currently seeking a Builder/Distributor Sales Representative - Entrance Systems to come and join their Sydney team whose office is located in Moorebank, Sydney
Purpose of Position: To ensure the fulfilment of the respective goals in terms of Entrance Systems sales, solution based selling and gross profit. To contribute towards achieving the Country and Regional business goals. To establish and build sustainable relationships with customers & partners.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Knowledge of the Tier 1 & 2, builder landscape.
- Ability to drive new business.
- A solution-oriented person, driven to providing the right outcome.
- Proven track record of account management, with profitable growth.
- An engaging and friendly personality – we see cultural fit as paramount!
- Intermediate to Advanced level skills in MS Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Knowledge of BCI and Salesforce CRM.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience with aluminium fabrication account management.
- Automatics / Electrical knowledge (preferred not necessary).
- Represent dormakaba to achieve Country sales & profit targets assigned. Assure and constantly develop in this field by advancing skills.
- Plan and implement comprehensive sales plan for area of responsibility that would contribute towards revenue and profit achievements
- Optimise sales performance through ongoing motivation, training, coaching and support to the sales team
- Work closely with the Marketing team to implement pricing, promotion, product launches etc.
- Provide market and competitor information to the Sales and Country Manager
- Compliment the sales organization that fits the requirements of markets in respective area of responsibility
- Conduct business in line with applicable laws and regulations, as well as with global and local policies and procedures and the companies code of conduct.
- All financial and operational KPIs for assigned Sales role
- Overall results of assigned Sales team (Sales, Profit, Receivables)
- Number of new clients, new projects, landmark projects, specifications etc
- Customer satisfaction index
- Moderate degree of freedom in sales strategy as long as it is in line with Country/Regional strategies and agreed with the Country Manager.
