Grange Resources is Australia's most experienced magnetite producer from its iron ore mining and pellet production business located in North-West Tasmania.
An exciting opportunity is available for a Document Controller to join our Southdown Project Team from our Perth Office in Western Australia.
In this role, the successful candidate will provide document control services and support to the site teams.
Southdown Magnetite Project
Southdown is an advanced project with more than 1.2 billion tonnes of high-quality mineral resources, including ore reserves of 388Mt. A Definitive Feasibility Study completed in 2012 (DFS 2012, see ASX announcement May 2012) defined a project to produce 10 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of high-grade magnetite concentrate at 69.5% iron, over a potential mine life of 14 years.
In February 2022, Grange completed a pre-feasibility level study into an alternative development option based on a reduction of the nominal concentrate production rate to 5mtpa (PFS 2022, see ASX announcement February 2022).
Grange Resources is now further optimising the Project while progressing through the definitive feasibility phase.

Key responsibilities in this role will include but not be limited to:
- Fulfil the role of Document Controller for the Southdown Project Team
- Assist teams in developing, implementing, and administering activities involved in Document Control & Records Management systems and procedures
- Assist teams in developing, implementing, and administering systems involved in Engineering & Change Management
- Provide site entry support management to project team for the Southdown project
- Provide support to Accounts Payable and Business Analysis Teams on Project cost controls
- Drive efficient and effective reporting for the project team Management Operating System
- Assist in formal and informal communications to, and in consultation with, internal and external stakeholders in both English and Mandarin
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- 2-5 years’ experience in a document control role in related industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English & Mandarin
- Experience with electronic records, document management and project management
- Strong computer skills along with advanced capability in Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail & effective verbal and written communication skills
- First Aid Qualifications
