About the role
This role is vital to ensuring that our Older population receive assistance to remain in their own homes. You will provide domestic assistance based on their individual needs, while developing relationships that are rewarding and meaningful.
Based at our Cleveland Service, some of the duties will include, general household cleaning, laundry, cooking and social support.
There are plenty of opportunities for you to advance in this growing industry.
About you
A background in general domestic cleaning duties
Experience in laundry services including washing, folding, sorting and ironing
Comfortable in the use of housekeeping equipment and machinery
Able to follow procedure aligned with clients personal preference
A confident communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families
Experience working within designated timeframes
An open and enthusiastic manner with a commitment to working with elderly people
Requirements
Queensland Drivers Licence and your own, reliable vehicle
National Police Certificate
Full Covid vaccination evidence
Hepatitis B and Tetanus vaccinations
What We Offer
Above award wage, Casual $31.14 per hour, Permanent $24.91 per hour
