About the team:
A great time to join us as we are reinvigorating our company operated depot and tanker fleet business! It is an integral part of our Ampol supply chain, meeting the needs of a diverse set of customers, particularly those in rural and regional locations. We distribute fuels and lubricants products from a network of depots across QLD, NSW and WA, operate up to 100 tanker trucks and employ over 150 dedicated employees.
We are investing in our infrastructure, fleet and people to ensure that we can continue to provide, safe, reliable and competitive supply to our valued customers, both today and into the future. About the role:
As a Tanker driver you will deliver bulk refined products, in an extremely safe, environmentally sound and cost-efficient manner, whilst providing customers with great local customer service.
The rates are paid under an award and this position is permanent full – time.
Route wise, the successful candidate will be servicing from our Lytton terminal to load and delivering local loads to a diesel, before going back to service. The main areas of travel will be from Casino to Lytton and South Grafton. There is a fair degree of autonomy in this role, you will be expected to work a rotating roster, typically shifts are 12 hours, with an average of 48 hours per week, with overtime as required.
Rotating roster covers day shifts, night shifts and weekend shifts.
Role is suited to someone who is reliable, enthusiastic and highly motivated; looking to develop and expand their career opportunities within this sector as we train and develop our team.
Key requirements:
A current Multi Combination licence
A current Safe Load Program (SLP) and/or Dangerous Goods license is desirable (not essential)
Having flexibility and commitment to working rotating shifts
Ampol will train and develop the successful candidate, as long as you have a fantastic, can-do attitude
Fuel experience is a desirable
