About the role
Team Global Express is currently seeking an experienced Dockhand with a LF Forklift Licence and HR Licence (desirable), to commence immediately at our Wagga Wagga depot.
Remuneration: $33.38 per hour
Competitive Superannuation: 15%
Overtime Rates apply outside of Regular Working Hours
Permanent Full Time: Monday to Friday from 9:30AM-5:36PM.
What you’ll do
Scan and sort freight into containment units using handheld scanner.
Perform PUD deliveries and pickups where required.
Operate forklift, load / unload freight from inbound and outbound movements in a safe manner
Loading and unloading of stock from vehicles, cages, stillages and containers.
Accurate scanning and wrapping freight, freight sortation and re-palletising of freight.
Identifying damages and reporting in accordance with site process.
Lifting, carrying, and sorting parcel freight items
Ensure all goods received are sorted in the appropriate area.
What you’ll bring
Current Forklift Licence is essential.
HR Licence is desirable.
Must have a safety-first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently.
Basic understanding of a transport depot is highly advantageous.
Previous experience in a warehouse or freight role.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
