AddressAs a Durability Analyst for Aston Martin you will be based from IDIADA on the Spanish coast. You will be instrumental in the definition, calculation, and periodical revision of full vehicle level Durability requirements (mileage, environmental conditions, manoeuvres, etc.). This role is responsible for Durability-related analysis across all AML vehicle programmes.
To excel in this role, you'll need to be able to make autonomous decisions. The role requires an individual who is accountable and responsible to deliver on commitments. Working with a team of experienced engineers, you'll be responsible for the definition and calculation of Durability-relevant coefficients. You'll also set up and execute Durability simulations based on full vehicle and/or systems virtual models. Additionally, you'll provide support to the Durability testing activities and be involved in additional Durability testing data analysis.
This role requires the provision of support for Road Load Data Acquisition activities and subsequent definition of vehicle/system Durability requirements and duty cycles. You will also execute fatigue analysis based on the acquired (or simulated) load data time histories. Meanwhile, analysis of in-field service data for mileage and failures is required along with warranty data analysis.
You're not the type to shy away from challenges, in this role, you will be able to build up good working relationships across a wide area of the business. The role requires a high level of detailed problem-solving and accountability at the highest engineering level.
As a Durability Analyst, you must be capable of managing your workload across a large number of wide-ranging engineering tasks, have excellent analytical skills, and experience in applying a range of data analysis techniques. You will be accountable and responsible to deliver on commitments and you will thrive on the challenges that come with the role. - Knowledge of statistics, reliability, and durability theories
- Experience with road load data analysis and fatigue calculation

- Experience with MATLAB software
- Experience with N-Code tools, ADAMS Car, VI-CarRealTime
- Masters degree in engineering
