Job title: Dust Suppression Sales Specialist
Reporting to: Business Development Manager- PolyCom brands
Purpose of the position: As a Dust Suppression Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for selling dust control products and solutions to clients in diverse industries. Your primary focus will be on understanding client needs, offering tailored solutions, and driving sales growth within your assigned territory or market segment. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets. As a successful candidate, it is essential that you hold residency in South Australia. The role requires both interstate and possible international travel.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Sales Generation: Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers while nurturing existing client relationships to drive sales growth. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Product Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of Dust Suppression products, including their features, benefits, and applications across different industries. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.
Client Consultation: Conduct thorough assessments of client needs and challenges related to dust control. Recommend appropriate solutions and provide expert advice to address client requirements effectively.
Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals, quotes, and presentations to prospective clients. Collaborate with internal technical teams to customize solutions based on client specifications.
Relationship Management: Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and support. Act as a trusted advisor and point of contact for all Dust Suppression-related inquiries.
Market Research: Stay informed about market dynamics, customer preferences, and regulatory requirements related to dust control. Use market insights to identify opportunities for product development and business expansion.
Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress. Generate regular reports and forecasts to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Training & Support: Provide training and support to clients on the proper use and maintenance of Dust Suppression products. Conduct demonstrations and workshops to showcase product effectiveness and value.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the industrial or environmental sector.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex products and convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
