About Breakers Country Club
Breakers Country Club is located on the beautiful Central Coast tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Terrigal’s main business area, only a 'stone's throw' away from Wamberal & Terrigal Beach. The Club has a nine hole, 18 tee golf course, two grass bowling greens and supports local sporting clubs with a community orientation.
The Club includes a Brasserie, two Function Rooms, as well as our Café Lounge which is open 7 days a week. The Club houses a gaming installation of 92 EGMs and has a strong and loyal membership of over 12,000.
About the Role
We are currently searching for an experienced and dedicated Duty Manager to lead our team at Breakers Country Club, located in Wamberal, NSW, on a full-time basis!
As a Breakers Duty Manager, you will have a customer focused professional that will be responsible for coordinating the daily operations throughout the venue to ensure memorable moments are created with all visitors.
More specifically, some duties will include but are not limited to;
- Ensuring compliance with the Registered Clubs Act, Liquor Act, Food Act, RSA, RCG, HACCP and Gaming Regulations
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders as necessary to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Opening and closing of the Club
- Ensure continuous improvement of our service delivery
- Attend and manage customer complaints and issues
- Supervision of employees including training and development as well as oversee and manage employee performance
- Ensuring rostered shifts are covered each day/week using the Clubs roster system TANDA
- Assist with compliance requirements by accurately updating reports in Risk Manager
About YOU!
To be successful for this role, you should have the following:
- Prior experience working across daily operations in all facets of food, beverage, gaming & entertainment
- Previous experience leading daily operations within a similar role
- Strong understanding of the Registered Clubs Act, Liquor Act, Food Act, RSA/RCG, HACCP & Gaming Regulations to ensure the Clubs compliance
- Ability to deliver exemplary customer service that anticipate and exceed customer expectations
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to use positive language
- Ability to build a coherent team
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
- Immaculate grooming and presentation
- Attentive, empathetic and compassionate
- Strong time management skills

- Possess a “hands on” approach
- Sound conflict resolution skills
- A high level of confidentiality and integrity
- Strong cultural awareness and appreciation
- Current NSW RSA & RCG competency certification (or willing to obtain)
- Certificate IV in Hospitality or equivalent (desirable)
