About the position
The Scots College is an innovative and creative teaching and learning environment for boys Preschool-12. We pride ourselves on our quest for excellence, our faith and tradition and a culture of leadership through teams for both our students and staff.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our friendly and hardworking team at our Long Day Care Centre, based at Rose Bay. The team has multiple long term employees and value having a consistent team and is recognised as an exceeding centre!
The position is permanent and full-time with a commencement at the end of April 2023.
Essential to the role
Be able to work within our operating hours of 7:30am to 6pm.
Have a Certificate III (minimum) and/or Diploma in Early Childhood Services
Training and experience with 3-5 year olds in a day care setting preferred
Plan and implement coherent, well-sequenced educational programs that engage and promote learning for boys
Communicate and work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and caregivers
Use effective verbal and non-verbal communication strategies to support student understanding, engagement and achievement
Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
