Description A fantastic opportunity exists for an Early Childhood Teacher to work with our 4-year-old and 3 year old funded kindergarten programs. This Part Time role commences immediately with a total of 20 hours, three days per week plus paid staff meetings, under the VECTEA 2020 award. Staff meetings are typically held once a week, 4:30-5:30pm, with the day of the week to be confirmed based on the availability of the teaching team. Working in a collaborative teaching structure, the successful applicant will need to have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to plan and deliver a high quality successful and stimulating program with strong links to the VEYLDF. The ability to establish a positive, friendly rapport with children, families and other staff members is also highly regarded. As a member of the teaching team you will develop and provide a high quality Early Childhood education program in accordance with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development and National Quality Frameworks, and aligned to the preschool’s philosophy and values. As an Early Childhood Teacher you will provide educational leadership while working as a member of a collaborative team.
Qualifications The successful applicant must hold an approved Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent as assessed by ACECQA), be VIT registered and must also have Approved First Aid, Child Protection Mandatory Reporting and Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training.
