About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Early Childhood Teacher/Kindy Room Leader to deliver the highest levels of education and care. The right person will be responsible for leading the practices and programming of the Kindy room including implementing and leading a School Readiness program. They will be involved in our leadership training program and be given on the job opportunities to learn how a Centre operates, whilst also driving the education and practices in our Kindy Room and beyond. They will be supported to develop core leadership skills and capabilities that will enhance their ability to lead teams and oversee the day-to-day running of an Early Learning service.
Key role responsibilities will include but will not be limited to;
- Planning, implementing and evaluating programs through your strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS);
- Ensuring child safety, supervision and safe-guarding are a priority and educators understand their obligations;
- Leading a team of educators ensuring the highest quality of care is provided for our children across all our rooms;
- Engaging with children through activities and experiences appropriate for age groups and stages of development;
- Motivating and supporting a team of educators to meet our quality principles of curriculum and documentation;
- Building and maintaining a team-oriented approach by being open to different views, receptive to feedback and reflective upon best practice;
- Bringing a friendly, mature and professional approach to everything you do;
- Ensuring your room and the centre as a whole is safe, welcoming and a space that children, educators and parents want to be in.
About You
You will be a passionate Early Childhood Teacher with an ability to inspire others and guide their practices to assist in the delivery of high-quality education in an Early Childhood setting. We look for people who align with our values and who are as passionate about exceeding expectations as we are.
To apply for this role you must have;
- Early Childhood Teacher qualifications or ACECQA approved equivalent ECT (we will also consider candidates working towards this qualification with 50% complete)
- Full-time availability 5 days a week with an openness to work in our shift rotations
- Working with Children Check
- National Criminal Check
- TRBWA Registration (including limited registration)
- First Aid & CPR (or be willing to obtain)
Full availability Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am - 6.00pm.
