Our beautiful Forest Springs Centre is looking for an ECT to focus on quality care and education for our wonderful kindergarten children. Our Forest Springs Centre is designed with children at the heart and embraces nature and playbased learning. - Plan and implement a comprehensive transition to school/ school-readiness program for our Kindergarten children
- Responsible in managing your classroom and mentoring educators to meet high standards of curriculum and documentation
- Team-player who is open to different views, receptive to feedback and reflects critically upon best practice
- Pride in ensuring the room is immaculately presented as a welcoming and safe environment
- Ability to mentor other teachers and educators as part of our leadership team
- Hold an ACECQA approved teaching qualification
- Current Working with Children's Check
- Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain one
- Current Child Protection Training or willingness to obtain one
Green Leaves Early Learning Forest Springs is a beautiful purpose-built centre that opened in June 2016. Located in the quiet suburb of Kirkwood, our centre is surrounded by bushland while still being a 5-minute drive to Forest Springs bus station with access to free parking.
As you walk through our doors, you will find our warm and inviting Centre Administrator at our reception. You will also see our fully equipped Chef’s kitchen and community lounge where parents can catch up with each other or educators over a fresh barista made coffee.
Our centre is licenced for 124 children per day, across seven modern and spacious learning hubs. Indoors, the rooms are spacious and well-lit with modern resources. The outdoor learning environment boats large grass play areas with a strong focus on ecophilosophies and sustainability.
Our centre offers all-inclusive fees which comprise of fresh and healthy meals, linen, hats and nappies. Included are also extra-curricular activities, incursions and excursions such as weekly yoga classes, Nature Walk Adventures, Kindy Sport programs and chef-led culinary lessons.
