As an Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll inspire a love of learning in children and foster their development through purposeful, intentional teaching practices that are delivered with creativity and energy. You will build meaningful relationships with families, so each child has a strong sense of belonging that supports them to thrive. Your love of teaching will be reflected in how you mentor and guide educational practices in your room, and in your work with the broader centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs, to ensure you’re achieving optimal outcomes for children.  
About Goodstart Tamworth Brisbane St:
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Tamworth Brisbane Street is a 66 place centre catering for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Our centre has a unique outdoor area and is purpose built in a leafy part of Tamworth, located in a residential area close to schools and community facilities.
The staff at Goodstart Early Learning Tamworth Brisbane Street are all dedicated to ensuring that your child has a positive experience in the Early Childhood setting. Children are central to all aspects of programming and planning and the centre provides an exceptional School Readiness program to assist your child in the transition to school.
All of our rooms program using the Early Learning Years Framework as a guide. All the children at our service have access to these great programs as a part of their day.
Inside, all of the rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. Our two yards have sandpits, vertical gardens, vege patches, worm farm, undercover verandah and lots of space for running around.

You’ll need:
• Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
• Current NSW Teachers Registration
• Current NSW Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
